Apples are a popular fruit, which the young and the old enjoy eating as
a healthy snack. The very thought of the round, crunchy and mildly sweet fruit is enough to make your mouth
water. Apples were first grown in Khazhakstan. When most hear the word apple, they instantly think of red ones.
However, there are several types of apples that are yellow, too.
Golden Delicious
Apples
This is the most popular type of yellow apple. It
traces its roots to the Golden Reinette and Grimes Golden strains. Mild and sweet, it is
perfect for snacking, baking and making mouthwatering pies, sauces and
salads.
Braeburn
These are exquisite yellow apples with an orange red
tinge. They are delicious and can be eaten raw.
Lady or Api

yellow skin with a reddish tone. It’s an old favorite. They are small and add beauty to fruit
baskets.
Ginger

love its sweet and sour flavor. Pies and sauces made from it are delectable. It doesn’t freeze well,
however.

luscious yellowish red apple. It is not used for pies. It can be frozen for future
use.
Jona

Golden Delicious and Jonathan apples. The tangy sweetness of this yellow apple makes it a
delightful snack. Its season extends from September to April. You can use it to make
palatable salads and pies.

of apples. These apples have a lovely inviting aroma and a mellow sweet flavor. Their skin is yellow, cut
through with pinkish stripes. You can find them in your grocery from September to
May.
